At the corner of Burdick and Balch, Adrian Zuidweg’s Sunoco Station in 1939, looking much as it did when I was a kid in the 60s–except for the car in the garage!
I am taking a little blogging break this week. Hope you enjoyed the peek into 1939 and “see” you soon!
I have good memories of these garages, that sadly for the most part are long gone. I had a 1957 Chev and we spent a fair amount of time in this type of garage.
You are right. Long gone. I loved to find Grandpa in the “pit.”
Have a good break—I hope it’s for doing something relaxing!
Enjoy your break 🙂
