The mass murders last night devastated a city that prides itself on being a wonderful place to live. My sympathy goes out to the victims and their families. I’m keeping Kalamazoo in my heart and praying for the teen girl clinging to life and the woman wounded several times.
For those of you who have contacted me, I am writing this post to let you know that my family is safe. Still waiting to hear the names of the victims.

Thank you for posting this, Luanne. I saw the news this morning and immediately thought of you …
Thank you Luanne, I had not heard about this.
I found this news item. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/02/22/us/kalamazoo-michigan-random-shootings.html?src=mv
So touching in the face of sadness, Luanne.
I thought of you yesterday as soon as I heard the news. I am glad you are okay and sickened by the continuing gun violence in this country.
Sending prayers to you and your town.
Dear Luanne,
I’d not heard of this recent atrocity. Thank you for alerting me to it. Happy that your family escaped harm.

So glad your family is ok. Our thoughts to all those affected by this terrible event.
Thanks for letting us know. when will this carnage stop?
So glad you are safe. So sorry for those who are not.
Yes, It was very devastating that this could happen here in Kalamazoo, lived here my whole life and never has there been anything like this, glad that they caught the guy, but it saddens me that so many people had to loose their lives and the young girl fighting to live, and it really hurt to hear about the young man and father looking at new cars. But thank you all for your prayers and kindess.
I know I’m late but I thought of you and your family when I heard of the shooting. I’m grateful to learn that your family members are safe but saddened for those who are suffering. It’s just all so senseless.
